UPDATE!
Due to recent events our office will be CLOSED and there will be no home or community based sessions until further notice. Grain of Sand Academy is dedicated to your health and safety as we will continue to be a resource for you and your family during this Global Pandemic. Licensed Professional Counselors are still here for you and are ready by phone and by ZOOM for those who need to talk and or to continue therapy sessions for their child. FREE Ballet Lessons and FREE Sing Along Activities will be available through our HIPAA Compliant Telehealth platform while we are closed for everyone's safety. ABA & PRT Therapy will also be provided to those who request it. Some services will continue as we navigate this event together.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has presented a dangerous challenge for all of us, leaving many parents wondering how they will continue providing what their children need during this somewhat isolated period. First and foremost, we are all in this together. Secondly, we know how important it is to not disrupt your child's therapy and consistent structure any more than we have to, and this why we have put together alternative therapies until it is safe to return to our normal routines.
Currently there will be NO Ballet program, Music Therapy, face-to-face counseling, ABA therapy in homes, community or in the office until further notice due to our concerns for the safety of everyone. We will, however, be offering TELEHEALTH therapy sessions, programs and activities through our HIPAA Compliant ZOOM platform.

Our Ballet & Music Program

We will have live HIPAA compliant ZOOM platform BALLET TRAINING sessions every SUNDAY at 2 PM and we encourage both parents and children to join us.
MUSIC SING-ALONGS will be available every Monday through Friday at 11 AM.

A more detailed schedule for additional sessions through the week will be posted soon as we adapt to the current situation we are all facing together. You aren't alone. We encourage you to reach out to us. We understand you are under a great deal of stress and we want to help. Families are really suffering and our goal is to provide resources and ways for families to continue to help their children thrive. We can provide sessions with parents and caregivers as well. Our main approach remains Behavioral and we hope to provide help through a myriad of resources, a toolbox of strategies, behavior plans for families to implement and new skills taught with our RBTs and other Behavior Therapists.
Grain of Sand Academy has two licensed professional counselors on staff to handle sessions on the phone or through Zoom if anyone wishes to talk. We are here for you and are adapting our resources and services to better serve you and your child. If you are worried or see signs of regression or depression please reach out to us today.
