At Nuriel’s Farm, we offer individualized programs designed specifically for children with Autism, blending the calming connection of horses with evidence-based support.

Our offerings include:

Four 1 Hour Sessions

The Foundational Four-Session Program
A Perfect Introduction to Our Unique Therapy

This is your child’s first step on their Equine Pathway. Designed for new families, this program offers a direct experience of our integrated therapy model. Over four one-hour sessions, your child will engage in a combination of groundwork and mounted activities, all under the guidance of our ABA therapist and horse trainer. We focus on building foundational skills such as communication, emotional regulation, and motor coordination in a supportive, one-on-one setting. This program is a wonderful way to see the immediate and lasting benefits of our approach.

Duration: Four 1-hour sessions

Total Cost: $480

• Pay-As-You-Go: $120 per session

Fifteen 1 Hour Sessions

"Galloping Toward Success" Program

The Next Step on Your Child's Journey

Ready for a deeper commitment to your child's growth? Our comprehensive 15-session program, "Galloping Towards Success," builds on the foundation established in our introductory program. This extended duration provides the consistency and repetition necessary for creating lasting behavioral changes and significant developmental progress. The therapeutic team will work closely with your family to track progress, adapt the treatment plan, and celebrate every milestone. This is where real and sustainable change happens. This treatment plan is rooted in evidence-based practices, designed to boost self-regulation and other core developmental skills through hands-on work with our horses.

Every child’s plan is customized following an assessment and delivered under the daily guidance of licensed Tennessee BCBAs, with support from experienced RBTs and animal handlers.

​

Who This Program Is For:
 

• Families who have completed the Foundational Program.

• Children ready for long-term goal setting and skill development.

• Anyone committed to seeing their child reach their full potential.

Week 1: Using your Senses. Goal: Meeting new Friends

Week 2: Caring for Horses. Goal: Maintaining a Relationship

Week 3: Haltering a Horse. Goal: Problem Solving & Greeting

Week 4: Leading Skills. Goal: Increase leadership skills, communication skills & confidence

Week 5: Box & Circles Obstacle Course. Goal: Increase leadership & communication skills

Week 6: Horse Care. Goal:  Motivation, Problem Solving & Attention Span

Week 7: Backing a Horse Up. Goal:  Improve Boundaries

Week 8: Ground Tying (Sit & Stay) Goal:  Solutions Building, Problem Solving & Increase Frustration Tolerance

Week 9: Mounting & Dismounting the Horse. Goal:  Learning New Skill Solution Building

Week 10: Basic Steering. Goal:  Learn A New Skill Responsibility

Week 11: Steering. Goal:  Appropriate Eye Contact

Week 12: Egg Walk. Goal: Problem Solving, Communication Building & Confidence

Week 13: 2-Point Position. Goal: Frustration Tolerance & Perseverance

Week 14: Sensory Trail. Goal:  Increase Problem Solving Skills, Improve Quality of Life & Sensory Integration

Week 15: Show & Tell. Goal:  Increase Confidence & Leadership Skills

Lisa S. Kovitch & Nuriel

Lisa S. Kovitch has dedicated over 20 years to serving and advocating for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), beginning her work in Pennsylvania and continuing in Georgia. She is the Owner and Director of Creative Behavior Consulting, where she leads a team committed to providing compassionate and effective care.

​

Lisa also founded the non-profit organization Grain of Sand Academy—a unique program offering creative, innovative, and evidence-based experiences for children and their families. In expanding this vision, she has added her Middle Tennessee farm as a new location, blending therapeutic support with the beauty of nature.

​

Now, Grain of Sand Academy is proud to offer services in a peaceful, natural setting, supported by exceptional equine and farm animal companions. These experiences are designed to nurture, inspire, and empower children through connection and creativity.

​

Now accepting insurance through Tricare, BCBS-TN, and Aetna in Tennessee for ABA services, as well as all payors in Georgia.
